Befriending

If you are feeling isolated and lonely, we can help you.

In the last year alone, we are proud to have improved the lives of over 50 local older people, and we have given more than 2,000 hours of support to help them cope with loneliness.

Loneliness can hit you for lots of reasons:

With our free befriending service, you don't need to feel alone. We'll learn about your interests and experiences and then find a match with one of our volunteers, who we hope will, over time, become a good friend.
